Dr. Helmer brings over 10 years of experience in avian and exotic pet medicine to the hospital. He has lectured at the state and national levels, and written multiple journal articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Helmer provides top-level medical and surgical care to various species of pets including birds, rabbits, ferrets, other small mammals, reptiles and amphibians. He looks forward to meeting new clients and their fuzzy, furry, or feathered friends.
